Sorry it has been so long since I updated what has been going on. Last weekend we went to the Whitestone Inn Bed and Breakfast compliments of our wonderful daughter on the other side of the world. Mike, me, Michelle, Todd, & Alex had a wonderful time as you will see in the pictures that came from Michelle's camera because we forgot ours. You can see more pictures on Michelle's blog. On Michelle's blog she failed to say what a wonderful meal we had on Friday night especially how much she enjoyed what she ordered. Michelle being the adventures one that she is decided, why I don't know, to order the eggplant parmesan. Lets just say that she was very sorry that she made that particular choice. She was making terrible faces while Mike and me ate delicious steak and Todd ate delicious chicken. While we ate that Alex was really enjoying his first mashed grapes and lemon sorbet and biscuit. Michelle or any of us had no problem eating the to die for Whitestone Inn specialty dessert. The place was beautiful and they make you feel like royalty. On a another note we had a answer to our prayers today. Mike got a call from the VP at Mesa and was told he was to report back to work on next Monday. He will have to go to another department and be in training for 6 months and take a pay cut for a year but he has a job, praise the Lord! Mike is looking forward to what he will be doing and the work should be steady. Mike goes tomorrow for another hearing test to see if the shot in had in his ear helped any and if he will get the next two shots or not. Well I better go to bed now.
Wahoo. praising the lord big time about Daddy's job. That is so awesome. I am so proud of you for finally updating your blog.. i was really beginning to wonder if you would! I loved loved loved the pictures.. way to get all technilogical. I got back safely from thailand.. i am going to put pictures up.. I was spoiled rotten there.. now I'm back in the house with not a DROP of water to be found.. makes for some stinky bathrooms. I hope to talk to you soon. i love you so much

ReplyDeletePraise the Lord about Mike's job!!! That is great that he is able to go back to work. It sounds like you all had a really great weekend! I can't believe that Michelle ordered eggplant. yuck!!! I wasn't sure when Mike was supposed to go for his shot in his ear. I will be praying that his hearing test comes out good. Let me know what they say. Love you!!!
